FREE EBOOK AND PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

      1. By requesting a FREE ebook, entering the prize draw to receive one of 2,000 abridged paperbacks of FREE or requesting a discounted hardback copy of FREE (promotions) you agree to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.
      2. The personal details you have supplied on the application form will be retained and used by The Random House Group Limited (promoter) in order to send you your FREE ebook, deliver your hard copy of FREE (as applicable) and in order that the promoter, its subsidiary companies, Haymarket Brand Media and Adobe Systems, Inc. and its group companies (Adobe) may send you promotional information from time to time.  Your personal details will not be passed on to any other third parties.  If you do not wish to receive promotional information from either Random House, Haymarket Brand Media or Adobe you may not take advantage of the promotions.
      3. You must sign up to receive a FREE ebook by 14th September 2009.
      4. If purchasing a discounted hardback copy of FREE you will be bound by our standard terms and conditions of sale (accessible on the previous page) in addition to these terms and conditions.
      5. The free prize draw to receive one of 2,000 free sponsored abridged paperbacks of FREE (prize) is open to anyone aged 13 or over who is a resident of the UK or the Republic of Ireland, except for employees of the promoter, its subsidiary companies, their families and any other company connected with the prize draw.  
      6. The closing date for the prize draw is 14th September 2009 (closing date).   Entries that are illegible or received after the closing date will not be considered. The promoter is not responsible for entries delayed or lost in transit.
      7. If events may occur which render the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the promoter the promoter may, at its absolute discretion, vary, amend, suspend or withdraw the prize with or without notice. 
      8. The winners will be drawn at random and notified by email within two weeks of the closing date).    No cash alternative to the prize will be offered.
      9. The winner agrees to the promoter’s use of their name, town of residence and photograph (if provided by the winner to the promoter) in the promoter’s publicity material.
      10. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the prize draw.  
      11. These terms and conditions are subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
